BBC documentary makes waves

Cayman is thrust into the international spotlight once more, and not necessarily for the right reasons.

A BBC documentary airs on television in the United Kingdom Friday (22 January) and interviews expats and locals living here.

Britain’s Trillion Pound Paradise is already making waves in the UK, it’s focuses on, what else allegations of tax dodging and financial scams.

Governor Her Excellency Helen Kilpatrick was interviewed, which has been described by one newspaper in England as, an awkward exchange.

The show’s presenter Jacques Peretti also labeled Cayman as a James Bond island where finance is the only game in town.
