Bush says he’s not surprised by Connolly’s departure

Bernie Bush said the recent departures of Alva Suckoo and Winston Connolly came as no surprise to him.

Mr bush says after veteran statesman Anthony Eden departed from the Progressives last year, he expected more members to part ways. He says it’s easier for newer members to switch sides, because there is less pressure for them to stay.
“Al’s move did not surprise me, once Anthony did it. At the end of the day, us younger ones [politicians] don’t have any skeleton’s or any bones buried anywhere. So we can make our conscience guide us. I would like to congratulate them,” said Mr. Bush. He added,”‘m going to tell them it’s very difficult on the other side, to put ideas forward and get nothing done.”

Mr Connolly will continue to retain his independent status.
