This weekend marks the 8th annual Cayman Cookout. Hosted by celebrity chef Eric Ripert, the festival celebrates food, wine and the beauty of the Caribbean.
Joining Chef Eric once again are celebrity chefs Anthony Bourdain and José Andrés. A new group of chefs will also join in of the fun, including Tom Colicchio and Florian Bellanger.
Chef Eric says each year different because of the new chefs, who bring new flavors, but each year is a lot of fun.
“It brings people together in a very nice way, And people enjoy the island, discover Cayman; and again, it’s fun” says Chef Eric.
There are over 30 events for participants to enjoy. Chef Eric is looking forward to the Gala, the Cookoff Brunch, Chef José’s paella, and visiting Stingray City.
