A long road to success

For Gavin Dixon the Road to becoming a lawyer was a vague journey filled with obstacles and distractions. A former Immigration Officer, Mr. Dixon says he was compelled to starting his law degree to improve himself and career.

“I heard of Franz Manderson going to law school to further himself to move up and I thought to myself the laws and how they came about rather than just enforcing them blindly,” said Mr. Dixon.

He began his studies with The Truman Bodden Law School in 2005, and on January 21, 2016 he was called to the bar.

The 38 year old says he wants those who follow in his footsteps to have a better experience, and warns future attorney’s to not fall short because of obstacles .

“I want to be able to show people that no matter the adversities that you face, you can always take those negatives and push it to that next level so those negatives no longer matter,” said Mr. Dixon.
