Man. City’s youth club confirmed for CAL Invitational

A youth team from one of the world’s most popular clubs is set to kick off in the Cayman Airways Invitational Youth Cup.

Manchester City has confirmed its sending a team to the under-14 tournament, easily becoming the most prestigious club to confirm attendance at the three-year old tournament.

This year’s installment runs 21-26 June.

It also features a Cayman Islands National team, Cuba’s National team, Major League Soccer franchises DC United, Houston Dynamo, Orlando City, the LA Galaxy and Seattle Sounders are sending teams as well as the Jamaica Cavaliers and a team from IMG Academy, in Florida.

Two more teams are expected to confirm.

The tournament will feature three groups and will have a handful of games played in Cayman Brac.
