Eight young ladies will vie for the crown and title of Miss Cayman Islands 2016.
One of those young ladies is 24 year old Samantha Rea.
Being an integral part of her community gives Samantha a great sense of pride and fulfillment. She has always been keen to assist in beach clean ups, take part in church services and has been a member of the Kiwanis key leader programme as well as past President of Junior Achievement.
Samantha recently received her Bachelor’s degree, after being awarded a PWC scholarship to attend UCCI. She would love to learn more about sustainable development and get more involved in the community. On her list of top interests are painting, DIY projects, netball and dancing. For her, becoming Miss Cayman Islands will only strengthen her passion, strong morals and humility for her country – traits which she believes should be embedded in each and every citizen regardless of position.
Samantha will take the stage at the Miss Cayman Islands pageant Saturday 30 January.
