President’s Cup semifinals kick off

The Cayman Islands Football Association Sunday (17 January) kicked off the first leg of its men’s and women’s President’s Cup competitions.

On the women’s side, Sunset blanked Alliance 5-0. Martha Hall scored twice in that one and Sunset also got goals from Carly Digman, Megan Ehman and Natalie Simpson.

In the other women’s game, Shanice Monteith scored in the 72nd minute to give Elite a 1-0 win over Scholars.

On the men’s side, Mark Ebanks scored twice and Elite game back from an early deficit to beat Bodden Town 2-1.

Roma beat Scholars 2-0 thanks to goals from Andra Allen and Cesar Dixon.
