Tourism on pace for a record in 2015

While the final numbers for 2015 are still being crunched, the 11-month tally indicates tourism is on-pace to surpass records set the previous year.

Nearly 350,000 overnight visitors have been recorded at Cayman airports, up one percent from the same period through November 2014. The number of visitors from continental Europe has shrunk, but there has been an uptick in visitors from the southern United States.

Cruise ship passengers numbers are running four percent ahead of the previous year’s pace with more than 1.5 million tourists expecting to be recorded for the full calendar year.
