Clash of the Legends returns with a grudge match, West Bay versus George Town, with the youngest players being 40-years-old and reports of an 80-year-old midfielder will West Bay take the cup from George Town.
Clash of the Legends is a fundraiser aimed at helping at-risk youth here in the Cayman Islands. West Bay’s goal keeper George Ebanks said, “And I am one of those who is willing to contribute some free hours and free energy that I have towards the benefit of all those who make this place their home and those who are striving to recover from drug addiction and a life of past crime.”
“If you take a survey, of all the people that is in hope foundation at this time , ask them, what sport they have played when they was a youngsta, and I guarantee you the majority of them will say they kicked what, they kicked a football,” said Coach Ray “Hutta” Ebanks.
Clash of the Legends will be 26 March at the McField stadium in George Town.
