CONCACAF leaders talk women’s game

Women’s football leaders from North America, Central America and the Caribbean met in Miami recently in order for CONCACAF to get a check on the women’s game.

Among them, Grenada Football Association General Secretary Malaika Church, who said that gender can too often be a divisive issue in football.

“I think we tend to overshadow the gender aspect of it as opposed to looking at football for all,” Church said. “Football is for all in Grenada.”

Representatives from nine CONCACAF member associations were present. Cayman was not one of them.
