More Cuban migrants in the Brac

Another wave of Cuban migrants has stopped by Cayman Brac en route to Central America.

The boat with 11 migrants dropped anchor inside the reef off the south point of the Brac over the weekend to wait out some rough weather.
A little more than a week ago, five migrants were repatriated back to Cuba. No word yet if this group of migrants has been transported to Grand Cayman.

If so, they would be likely be housed in the civic centre in either Bodden Town or East End, as the IDC is already at capacity.

At last report, more than 130 migrants are in the custody of the Immigration Department.
