Eric Bush: London post will help civil service

Home Affairs Chief Officer Eric Bush believes his appointment to the government’s London office will provide a benefit to civil servants in Cayman and the United Kingdom as they exchange ideas and best practices.

Mr. Bush was recently appointed to the head the London office and will start his new duties on 1 July.

Referring to his desire to leverage civil service relationships in both countries, Mr. Bush said, “There’s an abundance of ability and an abundance of expertise that I think we can learn from. I’d love to pair individuals within the Cayman Islands civil service with that expertise over there.”

Mr. Bush’s was hailed by Deputy Governor (Hon.) Franz Manderson as a leader with great communication skills and a knowledge of the financial services industry, qualities that will raise the profile of the London office and bring direct benefits to Cayman.
