Dart told Cayman 27 its planned expansion and relocation of the Esterley Tibbetts Highway through Camana Bay will necessitate moves for some of its neighbors.
A couple storage sheds behind the Galleria shopping center will have to move before the new four-lane road can be built from the Century 21 roundabout to connect with the underpass already under construction.
Dart said they are actively working with their neighbors to make sure everything goes smoothly.
“We’ve had very good conversations with our neighbors in terms of the benefits of the new road and what we need to do to relocate for example, for them, some storage structures that will need to be relocated and were relocating them so the road will move through that property,” said Dart Realty COO Jackie Doak.
Ms. Doak said the new road will be complete in a year’s time, but seemed positive that the project could even be complete before that.
