The National Trust is encouraging families to get back to nature.
This weekend, the Trust will be hosting an afternoon of arts and crafts, games and activities at the Trust Clubhouse at Dart Family Park.
The Trust said quality time in nature can help families discover the wonder all around them.
“It’s important for us to have our young ones to come out into the environment, out into the open and notice that there’s so much to discover,” said the National Trust’s Danielle Watler. “Just our species, our different trees, or plants. At the National Trust we’re all about protecting those things so we want to get the family out and want the kids to get involved as much as possible and get them away from the TV.”
It happens this Saturday (6 February) from 2 PM to 5 PM… and we’ve been informed a bouncy castle will be on hand as well.
