World football’s governing football body has cut funding to the Americas region.
FIFA announced it no longer is giving money to scandal-laden CONCACAF and CONMEBOL.
Both Confederations have been at the centre of the global corruption scandal in the sport, which has seen dozens of high-ranking football officials indicted on a myriad of fraud charges.
CONCACAF is the governing football body for North America, Central America and the Caribbean while CONMEBOL serves South America.
The Cayman Islands Football Association is a member association of CONCACAF.
