Former Nat’l football Myles calls for CIFA change

One former National team footballer calls for change in the Cayman Islands Football Association leadership.

Michael Myles says that after the scandals that have rocked local football over the past nine months, CIFA’s executive needs new blood.

“Football in Cayman needs to be reformed,” Myles said. “We need a new CIFA membership. We need to get the clubs more involved in the decision making of where football needs to go and we need to introduce more grassroots football. It’s how I grew up. It’s how it was. It’s what made us become a bit more successful 30 years ago. We have to have newer leadership now.”
