Gatlin runs faster than Bolt, but time won’t count

American Justin Gatlin ran the 100-metres faster than Usain Bolt ever did, but his time won’t stick in the record books.

Gatlin ran the 100 in 9.45-seconds recently on a Japanese television show. The time, however, didn’t count as he was running with a 20-mile per hour tail wind courtesy of a giant fan.

That means Bolt’s world record time of 9.58 seconds remains intact.
