The hunt is on for two armed robbers, who stole in the region of a $250,000 worth of diamonds.
Around 8:30 p.m Wednesday (16 February) the pair, posing as customers, hit island jewelers in Camana Bay. And these thieves, were certainly not camera shy.
“From my experience over the years its unusual to find where you have images that clear,” said Chief Superintendent Kurt Walton.
“Obviously it has a lot to do with the security camera at Camana Bay. If you recognise these faces. If you recognise the places they frequent please contact us immediately.”
Although they got away with a huge haul, none of the staff were injured
Mr. Walton added: “To have someone walk into a store and point a gun at you or display a firearm is certainly traumatic for anyone. Customers and the employees at the time.”
Anyone who recognises these individuals, or knows anything about the robbery, should immediately contact police at 949-4222 or 649-4222.
