Jamaican coach says gay players hurt women’s football

One football leader in Jamaica says gay women’s football players are hurting the game.

Jamaica Football Federation Director of Football Vinimore Blaine told media in Jamaica that local players who openly display homosexual behaviour contribute to a lack of growth in the sport because parents don’t want their children to play with gay teammates.

He says the JFF can’t mandate how players live their lives but that it should just be about football at training and games.
