The jury in the trial of Canover Watson begins its deliberations Wednesday (3 February).
Mr. Watson is alleged to have used his position as chairman of the health services authority to influence the awarding of a contract to a company he is supposed to have been connected to.
He denies money laundering and theft charges.
Around 12:30 p.m Judge Mr. Michael Mettyear finished his closing address and the jury began deliberating. By close of play no verdict had been reached and they were sent home until Thursday (4 February).
