Kids choose their careers

It’s never too early to star one’s search for the right career, and that sentiment resonated at the Edna Moyle Primary School in North Side today (February 26).

More than 20 different professions were put on display for the students to view. From Police Officers to  Veterinarians to Accountants and even Agrarians, there was no shortage of possible professions for students to chose or learn about.

Year 5 Teacher Janice Brown says the skills that the students learn today will travel with them for life.

“It’s more than just learning about possible careers. They are learning networking skills, conversational skills and basic people skills that will go with them wherever they go said,” Brown.
