Stars shine at 22nd annual CNCF Arts and Culture awards event

The stars were out in force for the Cayman National Cultural Foundation’s 22nd annual Arts and Culture awards.

The event recognised those who have contributed to the arts, culture, and heritage of the Cayman Islands.

More than 20 individuals were honoured at the invite-only, black-tie event, and some big-time stars, like model and actress Selita Ebanks, were honoured to be back home for the festivities.

“It’s one thing to be recognised by a different community, but to be recognised by your own community, your own hometown, it’s just, it’s very overwhelming. I was very emotional when I found out about this, I’m very thankful and blessed and just so happy that I could be here tonight,” said Ms. Ebanks.

The weekend of arts and culture continue tonight with a performance from the Cayman Islands folk singers, and of course, Red Sky at Night Saturday at the Harquail campus starting at 4pm.
