Three accused of smuggling ganja

Two West Bay men appear before a magistrate, accused of importing ganja.

It follows a police operation late last week, when a boat was intercepted around 20 miles off East End.

Three people were on board, including a Jamaican man, who also appeared in court Monday (8 February).

Officers from the Joint marine unit recovered almost 200 lbs of ganja.

Marlon Crow from Jamaica, and West Bayers, Leon Hydes and Cleaveland Powery, made a brief appearance at Summary Court and were remanded in custody to a later date.
