Cayman finishes with 12 medals in the pool at CARIFTA swimming

Cayman Islands swimmers finished with 12 medals in the pool at the 2016 CARIFTA Swimming Championships, in Martinique.

The final day of pool competition was 25 March while the open water portion of the event starts on 26 March.

On Friday 25 March, Sabine Ellison won gold in the 100-metre breaststroke and Lauren Hew added another in the 200-metres backstroke.

On Thursday 24 March Ellison won gold in the 50 breast and silver in the 200 IM. Corey Frederick-Westerborg added bronze in the 200 IM.
