David Bodden denies trying to kill Blake Burrell during a day light attack in George Town last year.
In court Thursday (3 March), the jury heard how Mr. Bodden had called police to say he was in fear of his life, and another man, who can’t be named because of legal reasons, had turned up at his place of work, a funeral home, and threatened him.
During questioning by defence barrister Amelia Fosuhene, the police officer who took the call from Mr. Bodden said he did sound anxious.
But he said as far as he can recall, Mr. Bodden only said one man was threatening him and that was not Blake Burrell.
The trial continues Monday.
