Fighter jet lands in Cayman

The Scorpion, a highly sophisticated fighter jet maneuvered by First Captain, Andy Vaughan and his co-pilot, made its special guest appearance in Cayman today. The aircraft was described by the pilot, as something enemies will never see coming.

“You’ll never hear it and you’ll never see it, but it will be monitoring you with its sensors and hopefully it will strike any bad guys out there well before they even know it’s close,” Vaughan said.

The aircraft landed at Owen Roberts International Airport for a “tech-stop”, as described by the captain, who says he’s filling up the tank before completing his trip to Santiago, Chile.

The Scorpion jet is a prototype and will be featured in the upcoming FIDAE flight show, which will showcase a host of other aerial displays.
