Forbes qualifies for world indoors

Cayman Islands two-time Olympic hurdler Ronald Forbes has qualified for the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships.

Forbes qualified for the 60-metres hurdles this weekend at the Armory Final Chance meet, in New York.

After taking third in the preliminary round, Forbes took first in the finals with a time of 7.65 seconds. The qualifying time is 7.72 seconds.

Cayman sprinter will join Forbes at the meet, scheduled for 17-20 March in Portland, Oregon.
