Looking back on CARIFTA, ahead to several other sporting events on LTS

It was a packed house at Television Centre for the 30 March episode of Let’s Talk Sports.

First, we looked back on the CARIFTA swimming and track championships.

Cayman Islands Swimming Technical Director and Bailey Weathers and CARIFTA coach Caleb Miller joined host Kevin Morales to review the swimming event, where Cayman earned 15 medals in all.

Track coach Derek Larner spoke about the highlights and surprises from Grenada, where Cayman’s track team hauled in seven medals at the CARIFTA meet.

Then we look ahead to some other sporting events garnering interest of sports fans around the Cayman Islands.

Ben Meade, of the Saturday Sports Show, joins us to talk about the West Indies’ run at the ICC World Twenty20 Championship.

Villanova alumnus and fan Duke Sullivan talks about the Final Four and March Madness.

Dave Bott trades in his swim coach hat for NBA playoffs prognosticator and Emma Woodhouse and Daniel Fortune, of the Cayman Islands Golf Association, talk about the upcoming Cayman Islands Amateur Championships event this weekend.

Plus we run down the Top 5 Plays of the Week and give out our You’re the Man Now, Dawg award all on this week’s episode of Let’s Talk Sports.
