National Gallery accepting applications for scholarship & internship

Young people interested in a career in the arts can take advantage of a opportunity being offered by the National Gallery Cayman Islands (NGCI). NGCI is offering a scholarship and internship, both sponsored by Deutsche.

One local student will be awarded a scholarship to assist them with funding their arts education overseas. The grant will be $20,000 per annum for a maximum of four year. The scholarship isn’t just limited to visual arts, but can also include film making, fashion design and other art focuses careers.

The National Gallery will also be offering a one year internship opportunity. The intern will learn all aspects of running a museum, from marketing, exhibition, and operations.

The application deadlines is Saturday 30 April and forms can be found online.
