Police investigating student attack on teacher

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) and Minister for Education Hon. Tara Rivers confirm to Cayman 27 that a police investigation is underway for at least one and perhaps two incidents where a teacher at Clifton Hunter High School was targeted for violence and vandalism.

Video being circulated on social media purportedly shows a student trying to assault a teacher but being restrained in a hallway. Then, another post shows what is described as the same teacher’s car after being vandalised. Police say they’re investigating an incident on 1 March between a student and a teacher at Clifton Hunter High School.
