RCIPS On Water Safety

The RCIPS want to ensure the time people spend in the water is safe.  During the long weekend Marine unites observed boaters not having adequate life jacks to equip each of their passages, some boaters were also operating in areas that are designated for swimmers.

If you are going on the water you should also have all the necessary safety equipment in case there are any problems on the water.

The RCIPS would like to also caution divers/snorkelers.  Diving is very strenuous on your body, divers should be in good physicals condition.  Have regular doctor check ups and also informing the boat operator about your medical conditions if any.
