Real Madrid, Wolfsburg advance in Champions League finals

Real Madrid and Wolfsburg both won their return leg matches Tuesday (8 March) and advance on aggregate to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.

Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodriguez both scored to give the Spanish side a 2-0 win over Roma and a 4-0 aggregate total for the series.

Wofsburg topped Gent 1-0 on the day. The Wolves are on to the quarterfinals 4-2 on aggregate.

Champions League play resumes 9 March with Zenit looking to overcome a 1-0 first-leg loss to Benfica. In the other matchup, PSG looks to hold on after topping Chelsea in the first leg, 2-1.
