Throat slasher cleared of attempted murder

A man who slashed the throat of another man in the centre of George Town during the middle of the day, has been cleared of attempted murder.

David Bodden was also found not guilty of the alternative charge of grievous bodily harm. But a jury did find him guilty of the lesser charge of reckless unlawful wounding.

Mr. Bodden was released on bail and will be sentenced in May.
