Warriors hang up Celltronics

Collin Anglin scored a game-high 33 points and Omari Corbin added 16 more to lead the Warriors to an 82-79 victory over Celltronics Tuesday (22 March) in Cayman Islands Basketball Association Men’s League play.

Anglin and Corbin each had a double-double, with Anglin grabbing 13 rebounds and Corbin 16 boards.

Daniel Mowatt poured in 31 points in the losing effort.

In the day’s second game, Ed Pellot-Rosa continued his hot shooting, scoring 44 points and adding 15 rebounds to lead George Town Sports Club to a 68-57 win over Hemoglobin Trotters.

Eckerd McField added 10 points for the victors.

Al Mendez had a double-double in the losing effort, with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Stephen Valle added 14 points.
