Arnold Palmer course takes step forward

Developers of the proposed Ironwood development say they’ve taken the next step toward making the Arnold Palmer 27-hole golf course a reality.

Developers on Friday 15 April submitted plans to planning, according to a press release.

It’s expected the hearing date will be 25 May.

The 18-hole, 498-acre course would be Cayman’s first championship caliber course. Those with Ironwood in the past have expressed interest in hosting PGA events at the facility.

If given the green light, ground-breaking on the project is scheduled for the end of July.
