Citizen scientists talk trash

The National Conservation Council has been using the assistance of “citizen scientists” to help track the origin of some of the litter that washes up on the shores of all three islands.

On Cayman 27 News, two volunteers discussed the project, the scope of the problem, the sources of Cayman’s beach litter, and how we can reduce the amount of ocean litter originating from Cayman.

Pat Kreitlow joined the Cayman 27 staff in October 2015.
