It’s a historic night for the National Basketball Association.
On Wednesday, 13 April, the Golden State Warriors could break the NBA record for most wins in a season and the league says goodbye to superstar, Kobe Bryant.
Steph Curry and company take on the Memphis Grizzlies with a record 73rd win of the season on the line. With a victory, the Warriors would break the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ record of 72 victories in a season.
Bryant’s last game comes 13 April after a Hall of Fame 20-year career.
Bryant and his team face off against the Utah Jazz at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Bryant, 37, has had a memorable two-decade career in the NBA with the Lakers, notching up more than 1,500 appearances and 33,5834 points for the team.
Ahead of Wednesday’s game, Bryant fans descended on the Staples Center in the early morning to get their hands on merchandise, much of it limited editions, and some of it costing tens of thousands of dollars.
