Intern finds niche in observatory through web design

UCCI student Shannon Williams didn’t know what to expect when he landed an internship at the school’s observatory, but he grabbed the bull by the horns and found his niche, channeling his passion for web design into a sleek new website for the observatory.

He told Cayman 27 opportunities arise by not giving up.

“Once you continue in your studies, and you complete different projects, you send it to people, you get them to know what you do, and eventually, you start getting attention and opportunities will come to you as well,” said Mr. Williams.

In the coming days, we’ll hear more from Mr. Williams, and how opportunities don’t always present themselves the way one might expect.
