New concept wants people to be mindful of life

A new trend has emerged in Cayman that focuses on living life with a grateful heart. Mindfulness, as it’s called, has arrived to our shores and the first set of people to take part are those who have a little more reason to see the good in living life.

Cancer survivors and current patients were given a chance to here the empowering meeting message. The concept is being offered as a course and encourages people to give thanks for the present.

Instructor Wendy Koll said, “It brings awareness to the moment intentionally and not to judge yourself at all, so what you end up with is calm and peace. It’s not to think about not having no problems or having no issues, you notice them and you do not attach to them and in that way your free yourself.”
