Pascal smashes national javelin record

The Cayman Islands has a new national record in the javelin, and it was done by none other than Alex Pascal.

Pascal, a redshirt sophomore at the University of Missouri, over the weekend threw a distance of 73.52 meters at the John McDonnell Invite, in Arkansas. He smashed his old record of 70.66 meters, which he threw back in July of 2013 at the Island Games in Bermuda.

The throw was not only good enough to get the gold medal, but it has gone down as the 4th best throw in Missouri history.
