Renegades win thriller, keep lead in Elite cricket

It took a super over, but the Renegades beat Greenies on 24 April and keep their lead in the Cayman Cricket Elite Cup T20 league.

After both teams finished regulation with 135 runs, Renegades were able to defend a total of seven runs in the extra session.

In Advanced League play, Mango Tree beat Schools by 98 runs in a game shortened to 20 overs. Jalon Linton had 42 in that one. Schools was held to 98 all out.

In Women’s League play, Supermix Sunshine Warriors limited Island Heritage Strikers to 90 all out en route to a 59-run win. Wyvonne Forbes reached a team-high 37 runs in the win. Natasha Roberts took three wickets for 11 runs.
