Two months before this year’s edition of “Cayfilm,” Director Tony Marks is putting on acting workshops for adults and kids to hone their skills. With big names from Hollywood coming to Cayman this summer, Mr. Marks wants to showcase local talent to them, in hopes of building the film industry in Cayman.
“With the spotlight on Cayfilm this year, we’re going to have so many film makers, film production companies coming down here, that I want them to know that they don’t have to bring a hundred people down here to make a movie, they can bring twenty and hire the rest locally,” said Cayfilm Festival Director, Tony Marks.
Cayfilm 2016 begins on July 1st and runs till the fourth.
