The world’s fastest man is back in Cayman.
Jamaican sprint superstar Usain Bolt touched down in Grand Cayman 12 May after a brief stop in Cayman Brac.
He’s here ahead of Saturday’s (14 May) Cayman Invitational, where he’s scheduled to open his 2016 season at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex. He’s slated to run the 100-metre dash.
Asked outside of Owen Roberts International Airport how he feels ahead of his season opener, Bolt replied: “Feeling good, brother. Feeling good.”
It marks the second time the six-time Olympic gold medalist and world 100 and 200-metre world record holder will compete on our shores. He took off in 2013 for the Cayman Invitational and edged Kemar Bailey-Cole to win the 100.
