Claassens picks clinch playoff win

Kirk Freeport’s Dillon Claassens caught two interceptions on each of Cayman Auto’s final two drives to clinch 14-13 win in the first found of the Cayman Islands Flag Football Association’s Co-ed League.

Kirk Freeport led by one late in the second half with Cayman Auto driving deep into the jewelers’ territory. Claassens ended that threat with an interception but Cayman Auto¬†got the ball back with just seconds remaining and sent one final heave into the end zone, where Claassens intercepted it again.

Maples, Seleucids and Bogle Insurance also earned wins in the first round.
