Forbes runs 6th-fastest time in the world for 2016

Ronald Forbes now is among the world leaders this year in the 110-metre high hurdles.

Forbes over the weekend clocked a time of 13.36 seconds, which comes in at the sixth-fastest time in the world in 2016 according to the IAAF.

It also marks the second time in a month Forbes has broken his own Cayman Islands record in the event.

He ran the time at the NTC/Pure Athletics Meet in Clearwater, Florida.

His old record set in April was 13.41 seconds.

Forbes is one of two Caymanians who have qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics, joining sprinter Kemar Hyman.
