Jamaica’s McLeod cracks 13 seconds in 110 hurdles

Jamaica’s Omar McLeod produced the year’s first sub-13 second performance to take his second Diamond League win this season.

Unfazed by two false starts, world indoor champion McLeod made a strong start and went across the line in 12.98 seconds.

The Jamaicans have owned the 110 hurdles this season. McLeod has the three fastest times in the world in the event this year while Jamaican Hansle Parchment owns the fourth fastest.

McLeod is the only athlete ever to run sub-13 in the 110 hurdles and sub-10 in the 100.
