NRA fixes minor error

An error during the reconstruction of part of the Esterley Tibbetts Highway has forced the National Roads Authority (NRA) to start digging once more. The NRA says its not uncommon for errors to occur when making adjustments to already existing roads.

The work, which is being done near Canal Point Drive, is anticipated to be completed in the coming days and is not expected to cause much disturbance to traffic along that portion of the highway.

A spokes person for the NRA says driver and pedestrian safety is the main concern and as a result the result needed to be addressed quickly.
