A promise from the opposition leader, his choice to assist with the inquiry into the five lost at sea, will ensure it will not be a white wash.
Speaking via social media, Mr. Bush said there has been some concerns in the media over the appointment of former Speaker of the House, Mary Lawrence to help.
But Mr. Bush said, “We met with her, and discussed her appointment, clearly identifying our concerns and ensuring that all relevant information be made public.
Mrs. Lawrence is a well known lady of integrity, very articulate and knowledgeable in the affairs of this country. She would ensure that there is no white wash of this inquiry.
Cayman 27 understands UK Coast Guard Commander Andy Jenkins met with the Mullings family Tuesday (3 May) and flew back to the UK Wednesday. His findings are expected to be made public soon.
