Picking through pensions

On this episode of The Panel, we pick through the new Pensions Law. This impacts all of us in the workforce – we all do the best to provide for ourselves and loved ones, putting aside each month contributions to make sure there is enough for us to live on in our golden years.

Last week, law makers made serious changes to the national pensions law, which have altered more than 50 sections of the legislation. The amendments represent the first complete overhaul of the legislation since it came into effect 18 years ago.

But have questions and concerns been addressed by the brand new law? Employment Minister Hon. Tara Rivers explains exactly how the changes will work for all of us.
