Ramos’ 3-run home run lifts Stingers

Kacie Ramos hit a three-run home run and Jessica Pawlik dominated on the mound to lift the CADC Stingers to a 9-4 win over the Wildcats 30 April in Women’s fastpitch softball league play.

Pawlik picked up the victory on the mound in a game that remained close for a while.

The Stingers, however, got a rally started when Lori Moncrieffe squared around to bunt but pulled back and swung away to send a hit to the centre field fence. Stephanie Watler was up next and reached on a bloop single before Kacie Ramos sent a blast over the left-field wall to put her team up for good.
